and Spirit
Physically, we
return to the earth, after being sustained by the earth in life.
Spiritually
after death we return to where we were before we were born. It is from
this realm we receive the essence of who we are. After birth the
umbilical cord pulsates as a final health boosting kai passes from
mother to child, the last of the kai while mother is joined to child.
The spiritual essences pass as well from kaitiaki on the other side.
Together they
are the most important meal we would ever have in our lifetime.
